Meta's Muse doesn't need ads, users fear free-tier ad creep

The author says he stopped using ChatGPT's regular chat mode over ads and worries Meta's Muse could follow the same path. Responding to a claim that "free tier is bound to get ads, pay for premium if you don't like it," he argues Muse doesn't need ads — its shopping discovery already works extremely well. Worse, Meta already runs ads on IG & FB, which Muse could inadvertently access or see.
