Open-Source Agent Pipeline Auto-Audits Stale K8s Pod Labels, Buffers When Networks Go Down

The author open-sourced a Jev-based agent demo pipeline (expanso-io/demo-expanso-jev) tackling stale Kubernetes Pod labels, which drive service discovery, Kyverno policies, and Istio routing but go stale the moment pod behavior changes.
- The agent reads every pod's logs, inventories cluster-wide labels, compares them to actual state, and applies or removes labels as Jev judges true
- Expanso is free for the first five nodes for your own workspace to monitor/manage the cluster
- If the network goes down, events are buffered automatically so the hot path stays undisturbed; queries are re-fetched once connectivity returns
