X exec: seasoned software execs ill-suited for probabilistic AI products, young builders hold the edge

Nikita Bier, an executive at X, argues that many seasoned software executives are out of their element for the next wave of AI products. After 20 years of building apps that deliver value through deterministic outputs, their instincts are mismatched with AI, which creates value from probabilistic results. Just as young people had an advantage grasping social products in 2010, those thinking probabilistically from the start will win the AI era.
