The Qwen team released two fine-tuned Qwen3.5-VL 9B prompt-rewriter checkpoints for Qwen-Image-2.1: one for image-edit prompt enhancement (PE-I2I) and one for text-to-image (PE-T2I). A unified codebase auto-detects the mode, guesses aspect ratio/resolution, and outputs an enhanced prompt as JSON. Weights ship in 18.8GB full, GGUF (4.6-17.9GB) and FP8 vLLM (13.5GB) formats; recommended settings are temperature 1.0, topp 0.95, topk 20. The poster's llama.cpp comparison shows the rewriter expands terse edit instructions into highly detailed edit specs, and they see it as a potential replacement for Klein 9B.
