Cloudflare's Quick Tunnels puts any local service on the internet with one command (cloudflared tunnel --url http://localhost:8000) — no account, DNS records, or open ports required.
Key points:
- Ready in seconds with automatic HTTPS, edge DDoS protection, and no IP exposure
- Outbound-only architecture: cloudflared connects to the nearest Cloudflare edge, so your router never accepts inbound traffic
- Built for dev loops: sharing previews, receiving webhooks, browser tests, or giving coding agents a real endpoint
- --output makes the URL machine-readable for scripts and agent runners; the tunnel dies with the process, no cleanup
Install via your package manager (e.g. brew install cloudflared) and go.
