Former Anthropic researcher Ryan Greenblatt says nearly everyone he knows working on capabilities at OpenAI and Anthropic—including the most senior researchers—considers the risk of misaligned AI takeover significant. He clarifies that 'significant' means well above zero, not necessarily >50%, and notes that most AI company employees haven't seriously thought about the issue and remain ordinary tech workers.
