Developer @menhguin tested ChatGPT's image geolocation at an APART Research hackathon: shown random urban street photos, it can name the exact city; for wilderness/rural photos it narrows location to within 50-100 miles. He also raises geoguessr as a fun edge case, with screenshots as evidence.
