Developer iannuttall reports migrating his GitHub issue scheduling from Grok Bot to Amp thread automations — and it immediately surfaced problems in two of his scrapers that had been broken for weeks.
Notably, the new setup runs on Deepseek 4.1 Flash checking issues daily, while the previous Grok/Cursor background agents on Sol 5.6 High never caught them — a hint that task orchestration matters more than raw model strength for background agent workflows.
