Why enterprise AI assistants should default to ChatGPT: security approvals and coworker support
TheZachMueller · x · 2026-09-20
Zach Mueller explains why he defaults to ChatGPT over alternatives like Pi in enterprise settings:
- Security is pre-approved: your security team already went through the processes to let Notion, Gmail, etc. work inside the ChatGPT app — staying with what people use daily is a frictionless drop-in.
- Coworker support matters more: "I use Pi, can't help you" is useless; shared harnesses let you actually help colleagues.
He notes traces from local execution are still useful to the labs, but many underestimate the cost of onboarding a whole company onto niche harnesses.
