Dev Open-Sources 'orchestrate' Skill: BDD Specs, Real Tests, Full PR Delivery Loop
_rchaves_ · x · 2026-09-20
Developer rchaves shares his agent orchestration setup and open-sources the orchestrate skill.
- A specialized harness was built just for one large PR and keeps needing rewrites as main moves.
- The skill enforces a disciplined delivery loop: write/update BDD specs in specs/ first, interleave implementation with tests, mandate real integration tests (no mocks), babysit PR CI and CodeRabbit reviews, and finish with end-user QA via Playwright browser or CLI dogfooding.
- It pushes the agent to "prove the work": take screenshots and drive the PR to completion.
- Cost tracking lives in PR comments; some Kimi was also used but untracked.
