Responding to the bug bounty discussion, user dyn recalls reporting serious vulnerabilities to Meraki around 2005, deliberately keeping demos small. When the company finally replied and asked for his address, he feared lawyers or a C&D — it turned out to be for a t-shirt. A neat anecdote illustrating how arbitrary rewards were before formal bounty programs.
