Doozy Robotics Demos Wheeled Dual-Arm Humanoid Doozy-V1 for Factory Work in Singapore

Singapore-based Doozy Robotics showcased Doozy-V1, a wheeled dual-arm humanoid built for factories and warehouses: 1.76m tall, 185kg, 23 DoF, 5kg payload, 1.2 m/s top speed, and 4 hours of runtime. In the demo it picks parts from totes, moves and places them, and performs repetitive assembly-line tasks.
The interesting part is its positioning: rather than replacing existing automation, V1 adds a new layer on top of a running factory — AMRs move materials, forklifts move pallets, humans handle tasks still hard to automate, and V1 takes on two-armed, dexterous work coordinated with existing robots. Doozy is also building AMRs, autonomous forklifts, and fleet-management software, plus a bipedal humanoid (S1) for picking, sorting, assembly, and inspection.
The author argues humanoids in real factories will look less like full replacement and more like the next layer added to automation, as manufacturing goes through another automation wave.
