Chemist Lee Cronin pushed back on the AI doomsday narrative with a printing-press analogy: by the same logic, doomers at the invention of the press would have warned "you read, you die!" Gary Marcus quote-tweeted it with the sarcastic quip "if anybody reads it, everybody dies!"
