Elon Musk confirmed that each Starlink V3 satellite will carry a SpaceX-designed Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 computer.
- Each satellite runs at 250kW with 10Tb of bidirectional connectivity, with a path to 100+Tb
- At scale, roughly 100,000 satellites each with an NVL72 rack add up to an estimated 25 gigawatts of compute
The plan effectively turns the Starlink constellation into a distributed space-based compute network larger than any terrestrial datacenter buildout.
