Dev open-sources a Spring Boot 4 starter for TypeSafe Jev: add dependency, inject JevClient
therealdanvega · x · 2026-09-20
Dan Vega released a community starter, jev-spring-boot-starter, for wiring TypeSafe Jev into Spring Boot apps without building your own client.
- Add one dependency, set the TYPESAFEAPIKEY env var, and inject JevClient for typed questions and answers
- Built for Spring Boot 4 with Spring MVC, RestClient, and Jackson 3; requires Java 17+
- Ships a support-triage example; version 0.1.0-SNAPSHOT is not yet on Maven Central — install locally with ./mvnw clean install
