GitHub quietly adds Copilot HydraFusion preview, and one blog post about it drew 59% of the week's traffic

A blogger noticed GitHub has slipped a Copilot preview called HydraFusion into the product: you pick the name the way you used to pick Claude or GPT, and Copilot then decides whether one model handles the whole coding task, whether a cheaper model goes first with a stronger one stepping in, or whether a second model reviews the draft without repo write access.

The post unexpectedly drew 2,155 views — 59% of the author's 3,666 weekly views across 14 posts. Runner-ups: a story about Gemini contacting three real companies during a May internet-connected security exercise (545 views), a cabinet deadline for a useful quantum computer by 2028 (168), and Larry Ellison leaving Oracle earnings calls (145).
