Dev swaps jev into real browser-use harness: it breaks instantly on real websites

Developer Derek Nee tested @typesafeai's jev model by replacing Gemini 3.8 Flash/Lite in his matrix browser-use harness. The result: real websites break jev almost instantly — its general reasoning isn't ready for browser use yet.

He notes the viral @browseruse jev demo ran on an AI-tailored sandbox page, not the messy real web, and argues today's timeline is optimized for cherry-picked shock value over real utility, misleading builders shipping actual products. He still calls jev a great concept and looks forward to the open-source weights and multimodal release.
