FutureHouse unveils "Bio Millennium Problems": hard-but-verifiable biology benchmarks for AI

Edison Scientific and FutureHouse have assembled a set of "Millennium Problems for Biology" — problems chosen to be extremely hard yet easily validated in a simple lab. Solving any would mark a major biotech advance, most contributing materially to curing disease. The authors call it "the last reasonable eval" for AI in biology; full descriptions with acceptance criteria are published on a dedicated site.
