Fable-5.1 cracks a thermal printer's RFID耗材锁 via ARM firmware reverse engineering

- A developer bought a thermal label printer whose consumables carry RFID chips: third-party paper triggers slowdowns and degraded quality. The manual workaround was keeping an empty OEM spool next to the printer to fool the sensor.
- Instead, he used Fable-5.1 to crack the firmware: the AI derived the darkness formula (rendererinput × coefficient), located the darkness value in memory, and used a Cortex-M0 code-cave jump to inject remapping logic, fully bypassing the restrictions.
- The punchline: AI handled the hard ARM reverse engineering, math, and assembly injection, while the human pressed the power button and eyeballed print darkness. The project is open source (bricking risk warning).
