LeCun publicly hits back at Geoffrey Hinton, arguing his and Yoshua's AI-risk rhetoric is inadvertently helping those who want to lock up AI R&D and protect their business by banning open research, open-source code and open-access models — warning this will inevitably lead to bad outcomes in the medium term.
