Agent inspects repo, files issues and assigns GitHub Copilot — 'AI now starts the work itself'

Developer dfinke shared a striking experience: while he was planning to do a task himself, his AI agent had already done it end-to-end on his PSAISuite project (a PowerShell abstraction layer unifying 15+ LLM providers).
The agent autonomously:
- Inspected the repo and provider architecture
- Researched the provider APIs
- Found and reopened an old Together.ai issue
- Created new issues for Baseten and IREN
- Wrote implementation specs
- Assigned all three issues to GitHub Copilot
He notes the shift from "AI helps me think about the work" to "AI notices the work and starts doing it" is getting very real — a concrete example of chaining an autonomous agent with GitHub issue management and Copilot assignment.
