A user uploaded his auto insurance policy to Meta Muse and asked for a better rate with identical coverage. In about 5 minutes the agent found a policy saving $3,500/year, bought it, and canceled the old one — after the user had abandoned several manual switching attempts.
@rohanpaulai frames this as a broader shift: insurance, banking, telecom, utilities and travel all profit partly from switching friction — forms, comparison work, sales calls and confusing terms — and AI agents are absorbing that friction.
