XGEN debuts Generative World Simulation: JING model tops WBench Full split
hey_abusiddik · x · 2026-09-20
XGENlabs announced a Generative World Simulation prototype coupling two components:
- JING: an interactive experience model letting agents navigate, manipulate, and communicate from a first-person perspective, conditioned on actions and observation history.
- DAO: a computable shared-world engine maintaining a world that evolves beyond any individual observer.
As of Sep 17, 2026, XGEN-JING ranked #1 on the WBench Full split and #2 on the Navi split. Commenters highlight that an agent's next decision depends on what the world has taught it — its errors are perspective errors, not the world's.
