DialKit 2.0 ships: open-source real-time UI tuning tool with prompts for coding agents
LinusEkenstam · x · 2026-09-20
joshpuckett released DialKit 2.0, an open-source tool for tuning UI parameters in real time via sliders, colors, and spring controls — install with npm i dialkit.
What's new in 2.0:
- New control types and dependency-free vanilla JS/HTML support
- Many bug fixes and performance improvements
- Adapters for React/Solid/Svelte/Vue, version saving, and a timeline for animation timing
- Production mode to hide the editor
The standout usage: the README ships ready-made prompts so your coding agent wires DialKit into existing components — e.g. add sliders for spring timing, hover scale, and shadow blur, or gap/column-count controls to a grid layout.
