He wired his local agent into 1,100 factory contact forms via MCP — and got inquiries across 7 countries

Unsatisfied with a local agent (Hermes) that only summarized news, the author set out to make it do real business work. An Agent-to-Agent directory hit the classic chicken-and-egg problem — no supplier runs an agent endpoint. So he pivoted: if suppliers lack agent endpoints, make the agent use the contact forms already on their websites.
How:
- Crawled SME export directories, cataloging 1,100 forms an agent could parse and submit without heavy anti-bot friction (885 manufacturers, 85 food/ingredient suppliers, 24 agriculture/fisheries)
- Wrapped the directory as an MCP server for his local agent
- Test prompt: opening a small bakery — research overseas sourcing and bulk ingredient prices
The agent matched suppliers in 7 countries (Turkey, China, Ecuador...), drafted formal inquiries in each country's native language, and submitted them via legacy contact forms. Auto-acknowledgments from all 7 companies arrived minutes later. He calls this Agent-to-Form: the practical bridge until universal A2A protocols arrive. Awaiting real human quotes.
