The Cookie Jar: an AI narrative game where you cover up stolen cookies before Mum gets home

Developer chongdashu released The Cookie Jar, a free first-person narrative puzzle game hosted on Wavedash, powered by Jev from Typesafe.

Premise: you're an eight-year-old who just ate every cookie in the jar, and Mum is home in fifteen minutes. You walk the house covering your tracks — put the lid back, wash your face, flip the sofa cushion, bribe your sister with piggy bank money, do homework as an alibi, or bury the packet in the garden. Looking around is free; crossing doorways and most cleanup actions cost precious minutes, and fixing one thing can break another.

The ending plays out in conversation: Mum asks about whatever you missed, you type answers in your own words, and she remembers everything you say — contradict yourself and get caught. There are four endings, and per the author, most players get grounded.
