vista8 open-sourced the Agent skill qiaomu-download (joeseesun/qiaomu-download on GitHub): say "download this + URL" and the agent handles the rest.
- One unified entry for YouTube, Bilibili, X, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Douyin, Xiaohongshu and other yt-dlp-supported sites; WeChat Channels handled via bundled qiaomu-wx-video
- Auto-follows yt-dlp stable releases and upgrades via the existing package manager only when a new version exists
- Anonymous extraction first, falls back to local browser cookies only if needed
- Verifies downloads with ffprobe (streams, duration, resolution, file size)
- Safe defaults: single link, no playlist expansion, no overwriting, task locking; never automates WeChat/Xiaohongshu clients
