Developer vista8 released the open-source Skill qiaomu-download, installable via npx skills add joeseesun/qiaomu-download.
- Say "download this + URL" and the agent identifies the video, grabs the highest quality, and verifies playback with ffprobe
- Supports YouTube, Bilibili, X, Douyin, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Vimeo and more, including WeChat Channels
- Built on yt-dlp, bundling the earlier WeChat Channels skill, and auto-updates yt-dlp stable per task
- Safety constraints: single-link default, no overwriting files, no UI automation of WeChat/Xiaohongshu clients
