Community Notes previews now global, notes appear 2.8 hours faster at median
X's Community Notes team announced that note previews are now visible to everyone worldwide. The feature, tested over the past month with a limited US group, previews top-performing notes that receive strongly positive ratings from raters across different perspectives while still gathering more ratings.
- Median effect: previews led to notes being shown 2.8 hours faster
- Preview criteria: high ratings from people with differing viewpoints, before full rating consensus
- Still early-stage; X says it will shape the feature with user feedback, with details in the Community Notes Guide
