Salesforce Puts AI Interface in Users' Hands First, Not Admins
shashib · x · 2026-09-19
An independent analyst's read of Dreamforce: Salesforce put customer records into Claude, Slack, the Lightning search bar, and spoken forms on Field Service phones — the interface now serves frontline workers first, while admins still own security and objects.
Commercially nothing changed on stage: Slack, Tableau Next, and Agentforce credits remain bundled into Core/Advanced/Max seats, and the Fin close and pricing structure held. Summer '26 adds 5 new Voice to Form languages.
