AI security company depthfirst has raised $120M total, the last $80M in March at a $580M valuation, with ex-Databricks infrastructure security and ex-DeepMind post-training talent. On the TikTok vulnerability, it notified TikTok and waited for the patch before publishing any footage — responsible disclosure the author says kept a billion phones private. Its base model is publicly downloadable.
