Neuralink brain chip restores natural speech for ALS patient Terry

After ALS took away Terry's ability to speak, Neuralink built him a brain-computer speech interface via an implanted chip. He first trained the algorithm by attempting to mimic speech; now he only needs to think of words and hears them output in natural voice.
In the video, Terry says "I love you" to his wife through thought alone, regaining conversational ability—a real-world milestone for speech decoding in BCI.
