Citing @tphuang, Huawei's Atlas-950 SuperCluster will start service on Huawei Cloud on Sep 30 in the domestic market and Nov 30 overseas. The analysis points to a MiniMax demonstration integrating with Huawei Cloud and Atlas via its multimodal models, with DeepSeek, Zhipu and MiniMax all expected to lean heavily on Ascend compute. The reposter notes Huawei seems eager to signal the 950 SuperCluster really exists.
