burny_tech · x · 2026-09-19
Qineng Wang demoed GPT-6 Astra tackling seriously tricky spatial constraint tasks — unlocking interlocked mechanical parts and threading a rope through three rings — with a public demo link to try it yourself.
Aran Nayebi quipped that it would be semi-ironic if the "GPT moment for robotics" turns out to be, well, just GPT — hinting that general-purpose models may directly power robotic manipulation.
