Grok Imagine 2.0 Takes a Median 84s Per 1024x1024 Image, Slower Than Rivals at Its Quality Tier

Artificial Analysis' independent speed benchmarking finds Grok Imagine Image 2.0 generates a 1024x1024 image at medium quality in a median of 84 seconds—faster than GPT Image 2 (high) at 121s and GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst at 114s, but well behind GPT Image 2.5 Flare (53s), Microsoft's MAI-Image-2.6 (30s), and Google's Nano Banana 2 (9s). The previous grok-imagine-image-quality returns images in 5 seconds.
Testing used 1024x1024 outputs at medium quality, medians across several runs, including inference and image transfer.
