Math Blogger Fears LLM Proof of Hodge Conjecture Would Unleash Wave of Bad Explainers

Math blogger @mathandcobb says his real worry about an LLM company honestly proving the Hodge Conjecture isn't the math — it's the flood of larping takes, nonsense metaphors, and oversimplified articles and videos from people who don't understand what Hodge means.
He points to coverage of Navier-Stokes, which is relatively easy to water down, as already a disaster, and expects Hodge coverage to be far worse. He notes that making an accessible video about the conjecture himself is genuinely hard.
