SayGM undercuts OpenRouter by ~21% on live prices with TEE-verified privacy
markjeffrey · x · 2026-09-19
SayGM launched a live price comparison against OpenRouter, pitching cheaper routing plus verifiable privacy:
- Pricing: OpenRouter charges 5.5% on credit top-ups (5% via crypto); SayGM prices every model at or below the model maker's list price — across 9 typical models, 21% cheaper once OpenRouter's fee is counted
- Mechanism: independent operators compete to serve each request, setting the rate; no top-up fees
- Privacy: the gateway runs inside an Intel TDX trusted execution environment with independently verifiable remote attestation, so no intermediary can read your prompt; the model lab still sees it in plaintext, as with direct calls
- OpenAI-compatible API, drop-in switch
