- Built a private eval set from 40 real sessions, manually labeled safe vs unsafe checkpoints, and hill-climbed the prompt
- Judgment combines two one-sentence questions (unit finished? hands-on work vs coordination) into one score
- Dynamic threshold: hint floor of 0.90 when context is mostly empty (precision-first), relaxing to 0.50 as the window nears full (recall-first)
