Video creator JSFILMZ spotted that an impressive short film was generated not by Pika's own model but by ByteDance's Seedance, which powers Pika's short-film feature. Creator Kyrannio clarified that Pika's offering is an aggregator: multiple models in one place with presets and workflows, including an older Pika 2.5 and even Imagine. It highlights how video creation platforms are shifting from proprietary models to model aggregation plus workflow orchestration.
