Anthropic researcher Ryan Greenblatt argues that if AIs vastly outperform humans at all cognitive labor—including operating robots—it would trigger an industrial explosion: AIs designing robots that build more robots and chips, with doubling times of roughly a year even using current technology under advanced AI operation.
