Reacting to WSJ's report that security researchers used Anthropic's Claude to break into OpenAI, legal scholar Harry Surden criticized the headline as misleading and sensationalist. He noted the individuals worked through an approved bug-bounty program; while technically white-hat "hackers", that term confuses readers into thinking a malicious attack occurred.
