xAI launches Grok Voice Transcribe 2.0, tops 32 streaming models at $0.10/hr

xAI released Grok Voice Transcribe 2.0, a speech-to-text model built on the audio foundation model behind Grok Voice. It claims 2x accuracy over v1.0 at the same price ($0.10/hr batch, $0.20/hr streaming), ranks first on Artificial Analysis among 32 streaming transcription models, and targets noisy real-world audio: phone lines, competing speakers, accents, spoken credentials. Grok Voice already powers tens of thousands of daily support calls and the Tesla Grok assistant; Atlassian uses it in Loom to pipe dictated requests straight into Cursor.
