Anthropic opens SF wet lab and plans to scale compute to 5GW this year

Anthropic has set up a wet lab in San Francisco, moving its bio research beyond in silico work with in-house and external physical experiments. Per the NYT, the company also plans to scale compute to 5GW by end of year and 10GW within 16 months. The poster predicts biology follows math, with medical announcements arriving sooner than expected.
