Anthropic merges Claude Cowork and Chat, Dispatch no longer available to new users

Anthropic announced that Claude's Cowork and Chat are merging into a single interface. The announcement also hints Dispatch may be sunset: it's no longer available to new users, and existing users can "keep using it for now."
The poster reads this as product consolidation and raises a practical concern: if Dispatch goes away, how would agents read their messages without being manually triggered? No replacement has been announced.
