Merge joins Mastercard's Start Path program to build agentic commerce infrastructure
shensi · x · 2026-09-18
Integration platform Merge announced it is joining Mastercard's Start Path Agentic Commerce & Services program. The thesis: agentic commerce needs infrastructure where agents can move money and touch business systems without someone hand-building a custom integration behind every use case — the same problem Merge already solves with one unified connection to business systems. The program backs startups working on exactly this infrastructure layer.
