Researchers ethically hacked OpenAI using Anthropic's Claude, accessed internal caches

Per The Guardian, Hacktron AI researchers, under OpenAI's bug bounty program, used Anthropic's Claude to help compromise ChatGPT accounts of OpenAI employees via a Discourse forum, then a GitHub pull request to reach internal software caches — 'the scope of what we could theoretically access was huge.' No code was downloaded and findings were reported; OpenAI says the flaws are fixed. The hack itself was mostly executed with OpenAI's own GPT-5.6 Sol.
