Meta's Muse hits #1 on App Store as dedicated agent mailbox feature leaks
testingcatalog · x · 2026-09-18
testingcatalog published the full scoop: Meta is building a dedicated Mail tab for its Muse agent, which would open a separate page and likely give the agent its own mailbox to handle correspondence on its behalf.
- The unreleased Mail tab sits next to the Muse Identity section with its own page view for reviewing the agent's email conversations.
- It could become especially useful with Meta's upcoming Shared Agents — configurable, shareable agent templates for businesses — where a dedicated mailbox offers a practical channel for business correspondence visible to owners.
- Dedicated agent mailboxes aren't new, but Muse's distribution could popularize the approach. The app hit #1 on the US App Store a week after launch per Alexandr Wang, though availability outside the US remains limited.
