Air-gapped covert channels: BitWhisper tops out at 0.002 bits/s, BitJabber at 300 kbps

Researcher BlancheMinerva analyzed hypothetical covert channels against OpenAI's "air-gapped network": thermal side channels like BitWhisper max out at 0.002 bits/s, while the best-known approach BitJabber advertises 300 kbps. A two-way channel would require an antenna installed inside the isolated network, and realistic throughput is orders of magnitude lower.
