GPT-6-built agent beats World's Hardest Game: all 30 levels, just one death
imjustnewatai · x · 2026-09-18
Blogger imjustnewatai shows a GPT-6 (Astra)-built agent completing World's Hardest Game: all 30 levels, one death, 20:51 full run.
It's tool-assisted control, not visual reflex play: the agent wrote and supervised a harness that simulates hazards, searches routes, and handles most movement, with Astra reviewing screenshots and repairing the planner after a death. Planning happens paused, using ordinary key inputs.
Code, methods, and verification are open-sourced on GitHub; recordings use anti-fake guards (no mic/desktop capture, all 41 game assets hash-verified).
