Grok Build ships Memory: auto-captures project decisions and conventions between sessions
tetsuoai · x · 2026-09-18
Grok Build's Memory feature is now generally available (v1.0.34, Sept 16). After each completed turn, it captures conventions, decisions with reasoning, and durable project facts in the background without blocking the session.
- Notes land as markdown topics, scoped per project or global; later sessions pull relevant topics before related work
- Task state, tentative conclusions, secrets, and anything already in the repo/docs are excluded
- Browse with /memory; merge topics with /dream (runs periodically in background)
- Applies to new sessions only; current-turn instructions still win over stored notes
